Skills Development
The USA Hockey Skills Development program is a Learn to Skate/Learn to Play Ice Hockey program for the beginning youth player starting at age 3.
Players are broken into groups based on ability and advance to learn new skills as they progress and are comfortable until they are ready to join a team.
Each session will consist of skates once or twice weekly depending on season and enrollment.
There are three sessions annually:
Session #1 October-December
Session #2 January-March
Session #3 April-May
Equipment
Equipment is available for your player to borrow at no additional charge while participating in this program. We cannot guarantee all items and sizes. If you are thinking of purchasing your own, helmets and hockey gloves would be helpful.
